In October 1994, the companions Frans and myself Kurt Joosen founded Transport Joosen NV in presence of a notary. Before, my father Frans Joosen had long been business executive of ITM Gebroeders Joosen and INCONTRA, which he managed in cooperation with his brother Louis. These businesses had existed for more than 25 years. The cooperation was then ceased, and both companies were closed. At that time, Frans and I decided to establish Transport Joosen NV together. We bought premises in the KMO Zone d’ Hoef van Sint-Lenaarts. 6500 m² seemed to be large enough. On this plot, we immediately started to build a garage, an office and an apartment.
